Believe it or not, the
Metallica Tribute album we worked on back in early 2001 for
Perris Records is FINALLY
out & has arrived here on 8/8/03. We recorded the backing tracks (drums,
bass, rhythm guitar) for this album back in February 2001 at
Max Trax Studios & were
originally told that singers such as Paul DiAnno & Jason McMaster would be
singing on it, but in all honesty, it didn't work out ANYTHNIG like
we were told it would. To say we were disappointed as all hell when we
heard the finished product is a severe understatement (but I will save
this entire tale for Metal Sludge...).
Here is the track listing:
1. Sad But True (Scott Featherstone - Lead vox
/ Roman Singleton - Lead Gtr)
2. Master Of Puppets (Steve Blaze - Lead Vox / Roman Singleton
- Lead Gtr)
3. Welcome Home (Scott Featherstone - Lead vox
/ Roman Singleton - Lead Gtr)
4. Wherever I May Roam
5. Seek & Destroy
6. The Thing That
Should Not Be
7. Jump In The Fire (The only track we didn't appear on)
8. For Whom The Bell
Tolls
9. Ride The Lightning
We also recorded Creeping
Death, which was left off this compilation, but I was told by Tom Mathers
(Perris Records owner) that it
will be on a compilation CD sometime next year, along w/ "leftovers" from
the Aerosmith & AC/DC Tributes the label did. The cover art for
this tribute was done/donated by our friend Randy Jones, guitarist for the
band Lucid Reality (who will soon be offering graphic design services -
stay tuned!)
